39th Avenue Greenway

 The Art of Concrete worked with SEMA, DHM, ECI, Denver and Bienenstock to help contribute to the new 39th Avenue Greenway in Denver, CO. This project helps contribute the the revitalization of the RiNo District. The Art of Concrete installed all the decorative site concrete for this project.

INNOVATION

In addition to the streetscaping elements, The Art of Concrete also worked with Bienenstock to create some custom play elements in the sites pocket parks. This included a water table and a sand finish water play area. This sloped paving around natural boulders created a non-slip but decorative and natural finish for this play area.

sustainability

By incorporating alternating sand and broom finish concrete, the waste was minimal in constructing this street scape. By simply changing the finish, the team was able to create aesthetic differences in paving.

REsults

This new greenway incorporates natural finishes while improving walkability and creating a more welcoming environment for this redevelopment.
