Not slippery when wet

Sand finish concrete in Colorado is an elegant and a safe surface. The surface provides excellent traction yet is comfortable on bare feet, making it an ideal solution for this “river bed” at John Meade Park. The multi-step process essentially pre-ages the concrete to deliver a more durable surface that is also less susceptible to climate changes than a traditional broom finish. In addition, slightly adjusting the integral color can change the warmth of the concrete as well to coordinate with adjacent surfaces.

The stream-like "splash pad" maintains non-slippery even it is wet conditions.
